The NBA draft is three weeks away and the Wolves have already surfaced as potential players in a number of trades. Last week rumors circled that Minnesota may trade the number 2 overall pick to the Indiana Pacers. Specifics never came to light, but names like Ricky Rubio, Danny Granger and Michael Beasley were all thrown around. This weekend, rumors emerged that the Wolves would trade the #2 pick to the Cavs for Cleveland’s #4 and #8 picks. A lot of Minnesota sports fans are going to enjoy their summer more this year than in recent years. I know I will. I’m foreseeing a lot more “free time” in my near future – something that hasn’t been the case in the last several years for the avid Twin Cities sports enthusiast. Why?
