Twins Continue to Keep Us Guessing

After allowing the most hits (27) and most runs (20) in a single game this season, the Twins have bounced back against the Texas Rangers to win the next two and have guaranteed a series split at worst. With July quickly coming to a close, we can’t say the Twins are contenders in the AL Central as we currently sit in 4th place, but being only 6 games out, we can’t say say we’re not either. Vikings Need Some Religion: Start Christian, Don’t Dance With Donovan

Every time I hear one of the most pompous, consistently wrong local Vikings commentators say the Vikings shouldn’t start Christian Ponder in game one this season, I’m pretty sure a small kitty dies. Said commentator should stick to breaking down video games. There has been a lot of buzz about the Vikings bringing in a veteran QB to take the reins this season: McNabb, Thigpen, even Hasslebeck have been thrown around. Many fans agree with the aforementioned commentator that a vet would be able to start the season, show Ponder the ropes, and then Ponder takes over…at some point....

Appointing a new head coach, hiring a new offensive coaching staff, and instituting an entirely new offense make the Vikings front runners for team most impacted by the lockout.
