I’ll admit it: I’m a little jealous when I see the promos on ESPN about GameDay being in Madison, WI for the Nebraska-Wisconsin match-up. After all, it’s an epic game: 1. Nebraska comes to the historic Camp Randle Stadium (4th oldest in college football) to play in their first conference game as a member of the Big Ten. 2. St. Thomas versus St. John’s. The two schools first met on Thanksgiving Day in 1901, and it’s been one of the best small college rivalries ever since. On Saturday, that rivalry continues when the two teams clash at O’Shaughnessy Stadium in a matchup that has MIAC title implications.   Saturday’s game will be the 80th meeting all-time between the two schools. Twins 2011 Season Ends With a “Huh?”

The 2011 Twins season is over. TCH will now curl up in the shower and cry for 6 months, because that’s how long it will take to wash the stench of this season off of us. The Pavanstache’s complete game shutout and Plouffe’s single helped the Twins avoid triple digit losses.
