Gophers Will Be 5-0 (for First Time Since 2004)

Here we are. 4-0 for the first time since 2008. Undefeated. The Gophers sit atop the Big Ten Standings along with Northwestern and Ohio State. All three of us with unblemished 4-0 records. Sure, we haven’t had any significant wins to date, while Ohio St. has a nice win over a tough Cal team, but that’s about to change this weekend. Shawn Smith, the sports information director at Minnesota, Crookston, said the first time someone noticed the...

A Day in the Life: Chris Kluwe

The Minneapolis.org website recently posted an article–The Life of an NFL Punter: Chris Kluwe-Style–which was written by Kluwe. We always enjoy Kluwe’s humor and thoughtfulness, (although we hope our Vikings can benefit from a little more precise punting than we’ve seen in the first two weeks to effect the field position game). We thought we’d share some of it for you, but visit their site to read the entire blog post! “Most people think we just show up at the stadium and play the game. This is not true! There are thousands of tiny little details that go into...
