After finishing the season with the best record in the WNBA (27-7), the Minnesota Lynx are back in the playoffs trying to defend their title. Last season, the Lynx made an impressive run to win the WNBA title over the Atlanta Dream. They’re back to the Finals again this year fighting for a repeat championship, this time against the Indiana Fever.

The Lynx dropped game one of the Finals in Minnesota 76-70. They came back to the hardwood on Wednesday night trying to even the series up one game a piece. In an intensely fought game knotted 48-48 toward the end of the third quarter, Lynx star Lindsay Whalen drove the lane and was clearly fouled across the arm by the Fever’s Briann January. Whalen was clearly upset about the no-call, but not as upset as the Lynx head coach Cheryl Reeve, who immediately stormed along the sidelines…and…well…see for yourself…

Maybe this is the kind of fire that will jumpstart the team back into back-to-back titles. It worked on Wednesday night, as the Lynx surged in the fourth quarter to beat Indiana 83-71. Game 3 is in Indiana tonight at 7pm CST.
