Not many people thought we would be 6-4 going into the Week 11 BYE week. The Vikings currently sit 1.5 games out of first place in the NFC North, behind the 6-3 Packers and the 7-2 Bears. With a daunting looming schedule after the BYE, the Vikings still sit in a strong position to make a push for the playoffs. Four of our final six games pit are against the NFC North foes that sit above us in the standings. Our fate is in our own hands.
For now, however, we should all sit back and enjoy the wins. We have doubled the win total from last year. The BYE week is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the progress we’ve made so far. It’s also a good time to look over your existing Vikings gear and see what needs updating. For some of us here at TCH, our Randall Cunningham throwbacks or Kenechi Udeze hopeful purchases are becoming more novelty wears than every Sunday standbys. We’re taking a look at our Vikings wardrobe and suggest you all do the same.
The new Vikings uniforms were released this season and we have half the season under our belts to assess which new jersey makes the most sense. Our friends at Fanatics have put up some great deals for us. We’ve seen how good Matt Kalil is. Maybe it’s time to add his jersey to your rotation? Or maybe your like some of us and need to grab a new Vikings hoodie and a jacket for the upcoming winter months. There are still a number of tailgates left. As the months get colder, we’re hoping the Vikings keep getting hotter. Who knows, maybe we’ll be hosting another playoff game this year?
