We’re sure you’ve seen it by now. Ricky Rubio returned with a bang on Saturday night against the Dallas Mavericks at home. He tallied 8 points, 9 assists and 3 steals in only 18 minutes of play. An impressive showing by the second year star. We’re also sure you’ve heard the gushing from players about the immediate impact Rubio had on the team and the team’s energy level.
His second game back in Orlando wasn’t quite as impressive, (0 points, 4 assists, 3 turnovers in 16 minutes). It’ll take him some time to get back into things as his recovers from his surgically repaired knee, but his first-game performance reminded us all what he brings to the table for our hometown Wolves. In case you missed it we have all the highlights below, including Rubio’s phenomenal between the legs pass to Greg Stiesma at the 1 minute mark, which was on yesterday’s Pardon the Interruption episode pitted against Nate Robinson’s block in toss up.
