Adrian Peterson stopped by Pro Football Talk the other day to talk about his dynamite performance against the St. Louis Rams and his quest to break Eric Dickerson’s 1984 single season rushing record of 2,105 yards. Peterson has 1,812 yards this season with two games to play. AP broke his career record in the Rams game, but it’s getting little attention as he approaches the 2,000 yard plateau and Dickerson’s record.
We’re hoping for another big game from All Day this Sunday in Reliant Stadium in Houston. He’ll have plenty of friends and family there to play for, as he told Mike Florio that he’s gotten over 100 tickets for people for the game.
Florio pushes Peterson to address the struggling passing game and whether Peterson would be putting up more or less yards if the passing game was better. Peterson also says that there’s no question that he would rather make the playoffs than break the record if he had to make a choice. No question. We like to hear that. Hopefully there’s room for both. Check out the full interview of the same name as this post below.
