In what has been nothing less than a flat-out ugly season, the Minnesota Gophers could make things even dirtier with a win today tomorrow. Yes, a win. The Gophers take on Northwestern, a team hanging on the bubble, that has never been to the NCAA Tournament. While the Wildcats likely need a couple of wins (maybe even 3) to have their name pop up on Selection Sunday, a loss to the hometown team would mean yet another NCAA-less season for Bill Carmody and the team from Evanston.
